Comprehensive renovation of the historic Villa Igiea hotel complex, an architectural landmark once owned by the Florio family. The villa’s original interiors were designed by Ernesto Basile, a leading figure of the Italian Art Nouveau (Liberty) movement.
The complex consists of several buildings:
- Main building: includes 88 guestrooms, a bar with outdoor terrace, two restaurants (indoor and outdoor) with dedicated kitchen facilities, and multiple meeting rooms.
- Secondary building: houses a large conference hall with dedicated kitchen, and 12 additional guestrooms.
- SPA building: exclusively dedicated to wellness services, including a gym and treatment rooms.
- The renovation encompassed all structures within the complex —from primary to ancillary buildings— as well as a soft refurbishment of the extensive garden and the complete renovation of the existing swimming pool.
All interventions were carried out with the utmost respect for the historical and artistic features of the property, ensuring the preservation and enhancement of its architectural heritage.
